LA RAÍZ

La Raíz is my favourite music group. They play folk, ska, rock and rap music, and the lyrics of the song are rescindable. They are ten members, and they're from Valencia. Their last record is called "Entre poetas y Presos", which I think is their best. My favourite song is "El Mercurio", otherwise at first I didn't like it because it isn't the kind of songs they usually play.

I like them because they aren't affraid of writing songs about their opinion of society. They criticise it using the music, and I think this is the best way to express and encourage young people not to be influenced by what's in fashion. I also love the rhythm of the songs.

SOME OF MY LIFE EXPERIENCES

I have already visited Dublin. I went there last year with my father and some of his friends so one of them could celebrate his birthday with his daughter. It was a weekend, and what I liked the most was the type of houses and pubs, because they were very different from here. It was also the first time I travelled by plane, but by now I've flown a few more times.

I have already flown in Windoor Empuriabrava. I had this experience in January, and it was a Christmas present. I did it with my sisters, and we all had a lot of fun. I enjoyed it because it's very exciting and it seems like you are floating in the air.

I have already been to Florence. Last summer I went to Tuscany with my father and my sisters. We visited many cities, but my favourite one was Florence. Its Renaissence's buildings are incredible, and the bridges are very beautiful. I think it's the best city in the world.Resultat d'imatges de florence

I haven't been to Morocco yet. One of my dreams is to travel to Morocco, because it must be very beautiful. What I like about travelling is that I see different cultures, people, food... That's why I think Morocco is a very good country to visit.

UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE

Los Glaciares National Park is a beautiful area in the Southwest of Santa Cruz province in Argentine. It was inscripted by the UNESCO on 1981. It has lots of glacial lakes and glaciers. The most striking and famous sight is the Perito Moreno Glacier in the Lake Argentino, because the water level causes on it regular ruptures on the water of the lake. Otherwise, last year the bridge formed by the ice fell down.

I love this place because it proves that nature is very pretty and impressive without any human help. I agree that it has to be protected because global warming is breaking the ice, like Perito Moreno and other glaciers.

LET HER GO

"Let her go" is a romantic love song. It talks about somebody that used to have a girl who loved, but he didn't know and he didn't appreciate her. He let her go, so now he misses her and realizes that he really loved her. To explain that, the singer compares this with other situations when you don't value what you have until you don't have it.

CARLOS RUIZ ZAFÓN

Imatge relacionadaCarlos Ruiz Zafón is a Catalan writer who writes in Spanish. He was born in Barcelona on 1964, but now he lives in Los Angeles. A part from writing, Ruiz Zafón is also a composer and a pianist. He's author of many best-sellers, and he's the second most read spanish writer after Cervantes.

He's my favourite writer since I read a novel of his for the first time in 1st ESO called "El príncipe de la niebla". Last summer I also read "La sombra del viento", which I really liked, and now I want to continue with the second book of the saga.

I love his books because the principal stories are always very interesting: they have horror, mistery and usually love. But in my opinion, what make his novels so good are the descriptions of the characters and the places, that make you feel like if you were there, feeling the same as the narrator. I also love the way he explains the action and scary parts of the books. Otherwise, I think the plots of all his books are very intelligent, with a lot of complications that can surprise the reader at any time.
